Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip Deliciousness

So, I made this. It's really good, if I do say so myself. You could totally do this recipe as cookies, but I don't have the patience to divide dough into cookies, so I do it this way.

Ingredients: 

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (minimum!)

Directions 
Heat oven to 350°F.
In large bowl, stir brown sugar and butter until blended.
Stir in vanilla and egg.
Stir in oats, flour, baking soda and salt; stir in chocolate chips.
Spray 9x13" casserole dish with Pam spray.
Spread dough flat(ish) in casserole dish.
Bake until golden brown or however you want it.
